Japanese Maples are native to Japan, China and Korea and derive their species name (Palmatum) from the Latin “palm” of the hand.
Japanese maples prefer part sun, moderate fertilizer and moderate amounts of water. Soil should never be allowed to dry out completely.
Potted in mame bonsai soil in a 3″ glazed hex pot
Trees are approximately 8″ tall approximately 5 years old, in training for 2 years.
