Portulacaria Afra “Elephant Bush” is a fast growing succulent perfect for bonsai.  This is an old, thick “cork bark” variant which has had leaves reduced multiple times per season.  Cork bark is a variation perfected by Frank Yee in California and is highly sought after for it’s thick, cork like bark.

P. Afra enjoys full sun, moderate fertilizer and low to moderate amounts of water.  Water when soil is almost completely dry.
