Desmodium are tropical trees that flower with rich purple blossoms on new growth. Blossoms smell strongly of grape soda which fades as the blossom reaches the end of its cycle
Desmodium enjoys full sun, moderate fertilizer and moderate amounts of water. Water when soil is dry on top.
Potted in a 4″ round Fletcher Kaufman pot
Tree is 8″ total height, 8 years old, in training for 2 years.
